An exciting development from the film is the establishment of Valerie’s Orchard in the Negev Desert, a place where hundreds of Olive Trees are to be planted. The motive behind this planting is to honour our friend Valerie who sixty years ago, was shown such dishonour as a human being during the Holocaust.

From the start of this project back in 2005, until now, Valerie’s Orchard has been independently self-funded. Everyone involved has voluntarily contributed their talents and spirit; from runners to actors and musicians; from practical and financial supporters.
